It took some time, but emo/alt rock band Jimmy Eat World is finally coming to the Philippines. The rockers famous for the 2002 hit “The Middle” are now existing as a band for 27 years. Their international tour, Surviving: The Asia Tour 2020, marks their longevity and also aptly introduces their 2019 album of the same name.

Thanks to PULP Live World and Skesh Entertainment, diehard fans in the country can now enjoy an eventful night of catching up and rocking out with the Arizona band. The band, which formed in 1993, broke into the mainstream during the ‘90s, capitalizing on a sound that mixed the unique elements of alternative rock with the energetic beats and chords of power pop.

It’s been a long road since then, and Jimmy Eat World has grown and adapted in response to the currents of the music industry. But they haven’t changed who they are at their core—a delight for true fans all over the world. Their music, like their fans, has developed in many ways and continue to be welcomed.

Watch the once angsty rock band take the stage with a matured sound on March 12, 2020. The concert will take place at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City at 8 p.m. Get your tickets while there’s still some left and check out the price table below:
