We’re going to bet half of our salaries this month, that majority of everyone else is going to be in Baguio by the Christmas season, maxing out the teeth shattering temperatures up there, that’s the closest we’ll ever get to the “White Christmas” experience we’ve always wanted in this tropical af country.
Since it’s going to be hella crowded up in Benguet, we’re thinking of alternatives, just so we could get the same amount of relaxation and/or enjoyment as Baguio – minus the toxic amount of people.
So instead of Baguio why not visit these places?
Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan
Get the semi-Vigan experience while you’re in Bataan, with their heritage houses and open air museum, in a resort that you’re sure to enjoy. There’s more to this place than just the Dambana ng Kagitingan.
Boracay
BACK IN BUSINESS! Since the world-famous white sands of Boracay will be open for visitors again starting December, it’s nothing but a good idea to get our asses there, right then! But let’s not forget to keep it clean, literally, ‘cus for sure, we missed this place and don’t want it closed back down, right?
Also, what would be better than white powdery sand in between your toes, lying down by the shore and watching the sunset/sunrise (whichever type of person you are) while feeling the sea breeze, right… RIGHT?
Batangas
If you’re from the south, then you probably know you don’t have to go too far to spot some quality beaches up close and personal, and if you’re from the North, shake things up by visiting the South!
Batangas has fantastic beaches all over, and where you’ll end up in will be entirely up to you. You could even go to all of them if you find the time!
STAY AT HOME!
Take a breather from all the stress, and spend time at home with your loved ones. I mean, when was the last time you spent time with your family or on your own, just laying in bed talking/watching a good movie with some of your favorite snacks? Or sipping on some hot cocoa?
Go out of the country and experience a White Christmas for real!
Why not? It’s sure to be quite an experience, most specially for the first time. Nearest picks would be Japan, Korea and China, but if you want to go to Europe or the United States, we’re not going to stop you!
